Re: Portable Build Lighting Question
I think neutral white is better than cool white, but I have to check which one I actually have. Did you figure out if neutral white is better than cool white? What about warm white? Or day white? What does this mean anyway? Kelvin Color Temperature: Warm = 2700-3200k Nuetral = 4000-4500k Day = 5500...

Re: DIY kit assembly
11x14" panes Is there a reason you chose 3/32 thickness? Is that just what was available at Home Depot? I'll be interested in the museum glass. I was given 1/4 thick glass panes from a similar throw away pile. It felt stronger than the 1/8th inch stuff. Think the thicker pane will reduce image...

Bungees Glass? PVC pipe? Bike parts? Cameras? If you find chea...

Re: Can you please give me feedback on a "new" homepage?
The link on the homepage for "instructions for beginners" should bring them to the "start here if you're a beginner" post, not an old model which hasn't been worked on for a year. I think this is the most important link on the homepage, and should be sized appropriately. I also t...

Re: DIY kit assembly
I've been asked for dfx files from the guy that is going to cut these parts for me. Where can I get updated dfx files that include the modifications for the glass-fitting? I need the spiral-bound scanning ability.

Updates on this shopping list? What is incorrect/missing?daniel_reetz wrote:Wow, Rob's parts look truly perfect.
Assembly instructions would be a HUGE contribution.
Also, we should go over that shopping list with mellow-yellow - some of it is incorrect. PM me and him and we can talk about/correct it.
