Re: Announcing the Archivist Scanner and a Beta Program!

Thank you Daniel! What an enhancement, simplicity in a clear design, achievement in polishing little details. Many years of doubts and discussions in forums, the use and experience can be seen here. The hardware is admiring! The path of integrating the optics, the trigger, the data transfer and soft...

I've made this alternative circuitry of your idea. If it is not correct or changes are made, I can exchange the image.

Re: Jck57's Full Auto Scanner Scheme #6

I'm following you all and the interesting developments. The building tests are quicker than I could draw the parts, specially the animations. But I suppose my job will eventually appear to help documenting and test some alternatives.
Keep going and well done.

Re: Jck57's Full Auto Scanner Scheme #6

I've made smaller cams put the rollers but for future test I am building models that we could see in movement. For that I'll use Inventor Fusion (free for mac, at least for while)

Re: Jck57's Full Auto Scanner Scheme #6

I've made a quick version with rollers. Is it your idea M@rtijn? The fine-tunings could be made by drawing over or directly in the model. As the full mechanism is not in place, the adjustments of pieces, like the extension of the axe, is uncertain for me at this moment. Jck57 should have some drawin...

Re: Anyone had a crash with 0.9.11?

I've been using the 64 bit version on an iMac without crash events. I did 4 jobs of different needs. I have used dewarping (automatic and manual) with sort and long range of pages (300 pages). Up to now, I've found the performance nice and smooth.
