Musinf Book Scanner

Built a scanner? Started to build a scanner? Record your progress here. Doesn't need to be a whole scanner - triggers and other parts are fine. Commercial scanners are fine too.

Can't wait to see your work. It's been awful quiet around here... I think people are busy out having fun in the spring weather.

Hello friends,

Today, I work hard with my father. You can discover the news photos. We build the structure with aluminium and tubular connections bought in this website !

The rails on the outer perimeter of the platen should not stick out too far to ensure there won't be obstruction for your cameras (that of course depends on how and where you'll mount cameras.

Thurough drawings, looks great.

I thought my scanner (16" x 20") was big, but you'll be able to scan newspapers and billboards, though it may take a 4-man crew to hoist the platen.
