Hello everyone, I have recently acquired bunch of old computer/gaming/electronics magazines from a friend who decided to throw them out. I want to scan and digitize those magazines. I tried cardboard box technique and results aren't so great(Sample after cropping in Picasa, no modifications). Pages seem to be tilted for a few degrees, text is hard to read, lightning isn't consistent. For camera I'm using Nikon L320, not a DSLR, it's superzoom point-n-shoot. I want something that gives better quality than this, and it's relatively cheap to build(20-30$). Also, glossy pages could be problem because reflection of the light from pages and glass. Has anyone built something like this or should I just go with slow flatbed scanner?

Glare is about camera to light angle. This thread has a bit on it:

However there was thread with a lovely diagram demonstrating safe and non-safe locations for the camera in relation to the light.
Edit - Found it:

Which then informs this image:

The keystoning (warping) is about camera centering over the page.
