Instead of purchasing two power adapters, is there a way to hack a single adapter to drive both cameras with a Y cable?
Sony has the AC-LM5A AC Adapter Power Supply 4.2V at 1.7A or the AC-LS1A DC OUT 4.2V at 1.5A. Both are $15US or less, each.
The Konica Minolta DR-AC4a 4.2V 2A AC Adapter is another.

i've drove 8 canons a495 from the 3.3V rail of an ATX power supply, your cabels needs thick enouth, and the power supply need amps, in situation where you zoom, charging flash the cams need a lot amps, if the power supply is not strong enough while this peeks your camera will shut of (you will see a low bat text or just a black screen)
