Have never seen it mentioned here or seen it tried. I really like their "USB remote" idea - basically a computer-triggered IR remote for IR capable cameras. That's novel.

If you try it out, please let us know!

Short update:

Tested digicamcontrol today with 2 dslr cams.

Menu to trigger both/multiple cameras at the same time was a bit hidden (top right corner hit the "manual/Handbuch" button and a overlay menu will appeared on left and right side where you can activate multi-camera support) and software is still not really top user friendly. I tested it with 2 12mp cameras and direct usb download worked fine for me. Will try a Nikon 7100 in a few days which a friend bought, so i can figure out how the scanner works when doing a bookscan with a few pages :).
