If you are going to use a halogen light you could follow this simple tutorial and switch out the halogen light for a CFL bulb. Have any of you heard or tried these DocuPen scanners? Here is an article, they seem pretty impressive but expensive. Wonder how the quality and ease of use is when scanning a book.

If you were able to get it to work on an image with that bad of page curl that would be awesome! I have been working on a 1 camera scanning option that this would work perfectly for! If not, you have already done an incredible job. Thanks for your hard work and effort!

How severe of a curl will this correct? If you are familiar with snapter will it do the same thing that it does to fix the page curvature of the book?
