Scanner Vs Camera - ImageAccess

Everything camera related. Includes triggers, batteries, power supplies, flatbeds and sheet-feeding scanners, too.

Few days back (Feb 6, 2021) Image Access released a video comparing the digitization using a Scanner and a Camera. Since most of us are using Camera for digitization, any comment on the points they raised in video?

What points exactly? By the way, that robotic voice hurts my ears so bad I could barely watch the video, there are better speech synthesizers readily available.

A general statement. "Scanning" and "camera capturing" (as described in the video) are two different technologies. As always with two different technologies, each has different strengths and weaknesses. Since I don't need to scan documents of unlimited length, and usually use destructive scanning, the curvature doesn't apply and "book camera" works nicely for me. Your mileage may vary.
