Does anyone hae any experience with abbyy Fotoreader as opposed with Finereader?

It would seem much better suited to our needs, at least in theory...

It isn't sold in the U.S., only in western Europe. Claims to do a better job with curved lines of text and other distortions caused by using a camera instead of a scanner (presumably keystoning etc.). It probably does, but with the setup I'm using to photograph the pages, and the fact that I prefer to keep the original images for reading, using ABBYY only to augment my reading with searchability, I haven't found these image distortion issues to be a problem.

I assume this will be available in the states eventually, so please give it a try and let us know what to expect.
