output dimensions ratio

Post by JPcornwall »

I have scanned eight issues of my 1980s A5 fanzine (A4 folded) at 600dpi and ScanTailor Advanced has wonderfully removed showthrough (set Mode: Mixed for all pages and although I failed to understand Picture Zones everything looks good). For margins slightly more generous than original and that wont matter for PDF/ebook but for printed version I would like output dimensions in A-type ratio i.e. 1:1.4142 (likely will expand to A4). Please how can the output width/height ratio be controlled in ScanTailor ?

In the bottom part, near the right-hand corner you have information on dimensions of the image. Width and height may be adjusted at the 'Margins' stage. You may change units by selecting 'Tools' and 'Units'.
